Timberhill Tennis Club Board of Directors Election 2025 Candidate Statements

Cliff Feldman

Cliff Feldman has been a TTC member since 2013 and served on the Board from 2014-2018. Since then he has been an active member of the Capital Improvements Committee and has been involved with input on the Master Plan and other facilities issues.

Cliff recognizes and appreciates the thoughtful care of ‘those who came before’ and have provided us with this wonderful tennis club. It’s his desire to help leave the best club possible for current and future members. “I’ve played tennis with many of our club’s Hall of Fame members. They did everything they could for this club and I’ll do the same.”

Doug Hardy

My name is Doug Hardy, and I’ve been fortunate to build a career as both a Chemist and Project Delivery Manager here in Corvallis for several decades. I’ve spent years working with technical teams, managing complex projects, and solving problems with a mix of science, technology, strategy, and collaboration. But outside of work, sport has always been a passion. While never formally taking up the sport until recently, I’ve always paid attention to the world of tennis by watching the ATP/WTA. The pandemic finally provided an opportunity to learn the game, and take lessons from Sam here at Timberhill Tennis Club. I have grown to love the intensity and focus of USTA singles competition—it’s where I find personal challenge and joy. TTC has been a place where I’ve learned the game, grown as a player, and connected with a community that shares my appreciation for the game.

I’m excited about the opportunity to serve on the TTC board because I care about the club and its future. I’d like to help strengthen member engagement, support improvements to our facilities, and create more opportunities for competitive and recreational players alike. With my employment background, I can bring structure and follow-through to club initiatives, while always keeping the member experience at the forefront of every decision. My goal is to help TTC continue to thrive—not just as a place to play, but as a community where people feel welcome, supported, and inspired to play the sport we all love … tennis.

Amy Hunter

My name is Amy Hunter and I’ve been involved with TTC for nearly 20 years! My daughter started taking lessons as a young girl and then played for the CHS Tennis team where they won the State championships for two years in a row! I’ve played off and on throughout my adult life but really got more serious about it during COVID since it was one of the last things that remained open! Once the club reopened, I started taking lessons with Danny and now Alle. Currently, I play 5-6 times per week and compete in USTA tournaments.

My professional background includes working in broadcasting for 20 years, teaching at CHS & OSU and currently, I’m a life-coach and I teach yoga at Timberhill Athletic Club and Fitness Over Fifty.

I am excited to serve on the Board to be able to steer the club in a way that is beneficial for everyone. I feel like things run pretty smoothly now and yet I know there’s a lot of hard work behind the scenes. I can offer my support for project management, organizational tasks, hospitality, teaching and content creation for video/audio.

Looking forward to working and growing together!
