Cathy Frischmann was a hall of famer on and off the court. In addition to being an engaged USTA League player, she was a great friend, loving, amazing, supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her career caring for people and communities in need. Cathy was very active in Altrusa, chairing the International Relations Committee, as well as League of Women Voters. At Timberhill, she was a motivated Board member, serving multiple years as treasurer. Her highest achievement at the Board level was designing a comprehensive financial review template that could be used by future Treasurers and Boards to perform yearly “mini-audits” of TTC’s financial controls and health. She also helped formalize a protocol for internal financial controls that are used as a standard at the club today. Cathy shared her life with all of us with profound joy and intention. She’ll be remembered as a great member and contributor at Timberhill, and for her love for family and her beloved snowy Idaho mountain cabin.
